Overview

Everything at Beaver Creek is posh, planned and near perfection – it’s the Deer Valley of Colorado. Owned by Vail Resorts, Beaver Creek opened in 1980 modeled after Europe's best ski resorts St Moritz in Switzerland and Italy's Cortina, it's like Vail's classier sister - not quite as popular, less approached, but that's what makes it so precious.

Big open runs, always good snow, and tons of different terrain. Beaver creek is always worth the extra drive from Denver to escape some of the other crowds or to ski some of the best runs on the front range.

Beaver Creek is one of my favorite resorts I have ever ridden at. I have been going since I was a little kid and there is no other place I would rather bring my family to today. From great fast lift lines, to very helpful staff there is nothing that this resorts can't help you... More

Hello, I visited colorado for my first snowboarding trip in 2008. It sparked a desire to continuously return as much as possible. After snowboarding and experiencing the sites I would retire with the fireplace on, wrapped up on the couch with my family surrounding me. My first... More

Great skiing for all ages and abilities. More grooming than just about anywhere, but still plenty of powder in the trees. World class ski school, and a pseudo European base village. Don’t miss the chocolate chip cookies every afternoon!

A posh, uncrowded and secluded oasis in the otherwise crowded Colorado rockies, with pow to be had days after a storm. Challenging terrain and steep terrain are easily accessible to those in the know, and short traverses and non-existent lift lines make the mountain truly unique... More

Amazing resort located in the Vail Valley. Tucked away above the town of Avalon this ski resort offers all kinds of terrain from cruising groomers to big and steep bumps. If you're into luxurious accommodations Beaver Creek will not disappoint, best and most lavish ski resort... More

Great resort. In my mind a best resort in Vail resorts family. It is a little pricy but manageable with advance season or other pass. Best run is Centenial. I like the Birds of Pray as well but it is not open often. It takes resort a long time after FIS race to open it to public

the staff is ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Not that the other resorts aren't but Beaver Creek is large enough to offer something for everyone but quaint enough to feel like a small town where you have lived for years (even though you're only there a week)
