Why we like it

Tips

• Mini fridges will help with your leftovers and beverages
• Despite the age of the property, it is immaculately kept
• Pub guests definitely contribute noise, but it isn't unbearable
• Take note of the unique touches throughout, like movie posters from films made in the area
• The fish and chips and shepherds pie come highly recommended

Location

This lovely old inn is located near the hospital on the east side of Canmore. The downtown area is located nearby, in case you want to stray from the fantastic fare at the included pub. When the time comes to head to the ski resorts, you will find access to the Trans-Canada highway a couple of blocks away.

• Distance to Nakiska Ski Area ski access: 56 km
• Within walking distance: The pub, of course, and a couple of other eateries. Downtown would be a longer walk, but is still possible
• Transportation: Bring a car, you will need it to get to most area attractions, including the resorts
