• The property is actually made up of several buildings all under the Meadow Lake name
• The on-site restaurant is open only for dinner, you'll need to get breakfast elsewhere
• Some amenities, including the fitness center and hot tub, are for adults only
• A children's club is available
• Head to the on-site coffee shop to start your morning right
• If you wish to use the shuttle, you will need to make reservations 24 hours ahead

Located in Columbia Falls rather than Whitefish, this secluded resort is a 10-mile drive from downtown Whitefish or half an hour from Whitefish Mountain Resort. Columbia Falls offers a nearby casino, as well as dining, bowling, and more.

• Within walking distance: There are several amenities on site, but little else
• Transportation: A shuttle will take you to skiing, but a car is highly recommended
