We love Sun Valley. We used to own a condo there and spent 2 weeks there every spring and 1 week each summer. We are enjoying being able to share Sun Valley with our teenage children.

Just a fun place to be. Beautiful views of the mountains and lots of celebs on the slopes. Difficult skiing yet you can find enough to ski together even with young children.

This is the oldest resort in the nation and had the first chair lift. The tradition is unbeatable and the setteing is perfect. The lower altitude has less of an effect on the head and the snow making system suppliments below average snow. The temps are usually much warmer than most resorts and the sun is usually out.

I have been skiing Sun Valley since I was a year old. It is just that kind of place that once you start going its hard to break the habit. There is something so romantic about the town, the mountain, and the resort...the way Baldy gracefully looms above quiet town below. Or now from the deck on the new Dollar lodge she looks like a Mom smiling down on her child. Its just magic I tell ya. And then of course there are restaurants, and shopping, and bars, and Hemingway, and the glory days of Hollywood to remember. It's a classic.

This resort is lovely. It is out of the way and very laid back. It has multiple mountains to ski.
