One of the largest resorts in Hakuba, Happo One has runs for all levels. Being right in the heart of town, it's a great mountain to live around, allowing you to essentially stay at a ski in ski out resort without paying the extra dollars. The mountain itself is extremely wide and you rarely have to look up for oncoming traffic. You'll most definitely get lost without a trail map but that's half the adventure. Take a lesson and venture out through long, wide groomed runs, deep tree powder and make sure to hit up the happo banks for something you'll struggle to find anywhere else in the world!
