As small resort with only 2 hotels, it is never too long a wait for any of its 7 chairlifts or gondola. There were days when it was a bit congested on the beginner slopes but that is what the gondola is handy. As a Japanese resort the powder is amazing especially the trees in the Sahoro express area. Unfortunately as there are only 2 hotels... More

A quiet little mountain with a great variety of runs, amazing powder both on and off piste, wonderful tree runs and very well kept pistes. I've been to bigger ski areas and had less choice. Lift queues are minimal, some very decent back country and 2 ski in/ ski out resorts. I have been going to Sahoro for 3 seasons and am still not bored with it.... More
