Loon Mountain Lodging and Accommodations

The Mountain Club on Loon
Loon Mountain is an ideal New Hampshire ski resort, easily accessed just 2.5 miles off I93 in Lincoln along the Kancamagus Highway. Loon skiing is on three interconnected peaks, North Peak, Loon Peak in the center served by the gondola, and South Peak closets to the village of Lincoln. With over 2,000' vertical and 370 acres and 61 trails reached by 12 lifts, there is plenty to explore from beginner to expert at Loon, including big terrain parks and some tight natural glades.
The only true ski in ski out lodging at Loon is The Mountain Club. Right at the base of Loon's Gondola, you will find this ski resort hotel with over 100 suites, a full-service spa, slopeside dining, and activities. Everything at The Mountain Club on Loon is well designed for skiers from the covered parking and ski lockers to the outdoor hot tub with a view of the slopes. The Black Diamond Pub has a cozy après ski atmosphere and big fireplace, or you can dine more formally at Seasons. The Viaggio Spa and Wellness Center has full beauty and massage treatments, at a very down-home New Hampshire pricing I might add. Or you can just head for the indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room, and the outdoor Jacuzzi. There is a full fitness center as well, but you should be getting sufficient work out on Loon's 61 ski trails.
The views from the Mountain Club's suites and rooms range from ski slope views on the Loon Mountain side - the best of which have a sunny southwestern exposure and balcony, or the Kancamagus Highway side overlooking the Pemigewassett River and the hills dotted with condos - which are not as slopeside as you are.
You have no excuse not to be loading on the first gondola at Loon in the morning with such a great set up. Being ski-in ski-out, not everyone has to stop skiing when someone in your family or group gets tired. After skiing, the kids can go to the pool, or Loon's Adventure Center for zip-lining and rock wall climbing, or snow tubing and exploring Loon's Ice Castle. Adults can enjoy après ski at the Black Diamond Pub or Paul Bunyan's in Loon's Octagon Lodge just steps away. You can drive into Lincoln, just two miles down the road for great local dining at Common Man, Gypsy, or Woodstock's Brewpub to name a few. But the beauty of lodging slopeside is not having to drive. Many of the studios, one and two-bedroom suites have fully equipped kitchens at the Mountain Club.
Mountain Club at Loon's rooms and suites are well appointed, wifi is free, and so is the fresh air - in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. If you conquer Loon's three peaks, carving up Flume, Walking Boss, Angel Street and Ripsaw, then it's an easy twenty-minute ride north to ski Cannon Mountain, or south to Waterville Valley ski resort.
