Trail maps

The Good

  • Largest resort in the US, we're talking 7,300 ac!
  • Over 360 in of famous Utah powder per year
  • Authentic Old West mining town with plenty of attractions and activities
  • You haven’t skied Utah until you’ve skied Park City!

The Bad

  • Susceptible to major crowds flocking in from Salt Lake City
  • Slopes aren't as steep as nearby Alta; also receives less snow
  • Lodging needs an upgrade
  • Most accommodation is far from the lifts

Find Freshies: On the Park City side, you'll find the deepest fresh stuff in the Main Bowl as well as the hike-to terrain along the ridge off Jupiter chairlift. On the Canyons side, hike up Ninety-Nine 90 for endless freshies in the off-piste and backcountry terrain!

Ditch the Crowds: Avoid the Silverlode Express and Tombstone Express lifts during peak hours (10:00am - 2:00pm) if you're not a fan of queues!

Local's Pick: For a hella long run with steep sections, bridges, tunnels to keep you twisting and turning, take Alpenglow to Twilight and then connect onto Harmony!

I've been going to this resort since o was 14. Seeing all the new stuff out here is awesome and great. I do on the other hand don't really like how they connected the canyon with park city. I think people love to have options and say which one was better. ... More

This was a fun place to ski for my first winter in Utah. Very expansive, takes a while to get to the top, lots of lifts is both a pro and a con. Way too developed. I don’t like having to ski through condos to get places. ... More

Park City/Canyons is a massive resort with the best snow on earth. I started skiing there in middle school and have enjoyed the mountain for 20 years. Canyons has some of the best/easiest back county access I've ever seen. I got my pass taken from me for going out of bounds... More
