Overview

Killington is affectionately called the Beast of the East, but don't let that scare you. The reality is this Vermont ski resort is the biggest in Vermont and eastern North America. Killington is big, and it boasts the longest ski season in Vermont opening as early as October and skiing till May - often Memorial Day. Killington opened first in the East 2016, on October 26! Killington is home to two high-speed heated gondolas, 12 quads and the world’s most extensive snowmaking system with 1,700 guns, 17 grooming cats and a pumping power of 12,000 gallons per minute of water. Killington has 155 trails and 22 lifts, with several base areas. Killington has a stunning new Peak Lodge at the 4,200' summit reached by the K-1 Gondola.

Killington was Pretty much everything I could've wanted out of the resort. Good park and wood features as well as views for a great east cost mountain ride with a backwoods feel.
