Southern Vermont is the closest area with good vertical and decent slopes. Mt. Snow has become a bit too crowded for me at times.

Mt. Snow does an outstanding job of grooming its slopes, and for the intermediate skiiers in our family, it's a favorite destination.

4 sided mountain, great for following the sun for great snow conditions. Cozy lodges and base village with shops. Fast lift lines. Great snow conditions
