Mountain Description For Sun Valley, Idaho

Offering two mountains for visitors, Sun Valley Resort located in western Idaho, gives skiers and riders a variety of terrain. With over 2,000 skiable acres, and over 150" snowfall annually, Sun Valley is the perfect North American ski destination. The slopes on Bald and Dollar mountains enjoy a nearly lift line–free existence all winter long with low traffic on the slopes. In addition, guests can enjoy a 26,000-square-foot family center with everything from lessons to rentals, to dining and shopping. Home of the world’s first chairlift, Sun Valley Resort now has 76 rails and a 22-foot superpipe, in addition to beginner-friendly slopes, five lifts and 628 vertical feet.
