Why we like it

• Rooms are clean and spacious with a contemporary design
• The resort is quietly isolated from nearby towns
• The common BBQ and hot tub areas are great places to spend down time
• Parking is underground, which protects your vehicle in the winter
• Kitchens and washers/dryers are available if you want to take care of meals and laundry yourself

Tips

• Located outside of any major town, there isn't much around
• While there is a hot tub, there is not a pool on site
• This is a pet-friendly establishment, so you may see/hear the dogs of others
• There is also an on-site fire pit
• In-unit gas fireplaces make for a cozy ambiance

Location

Well out and away from Canmore or Banff, this secluded resort is one of a small collection of establishments in the Dead Man's Flats area. As such, you won't find a lot of dining or shopping options, but you will be close to the Trans-Canada Highway, with convenient access to the area's major resorts.

• Within walking distance: There is one restaurant/market in range, you will have to drive for anything else
• Transportation: You will want a car to explore the area while here
