Great mountain and amazing snow quality! Very dry and powdery conditions are frequent in this Iwate resort. It offers a few hotels with good onsen and good food. Some of the least used trails are in a smaller peak served by an old double lift! Worth a try for the good snow they... More

Yeah, APPI it's a great place. It's got just about everything you need, but you'll have to pay for it. Really good runs, but don't veer off the beaten track because they have cameras installed under the lifts and the snow patrol (no pun intended) will be on you faster than goose... More
