The Summit Hotel at the base of Big Sky's ski slopes is the best place to stay for location and luxury (the most expensive building in Montana when constructed in 1999). The Summit has a spa and a huge outdoor hot tub with a view of the slopes for après ski too. You will also find the friendliest bellman at the Summit, cowboy clad bellhops lug your gear to your elegant western-themed suite and valet your skis each morning and evening. The luxurious Summit lobbies feature cowhide couches and leather chairs, a grand piano and soaring antler and iron chandeliers. There's dining in the Summit Hotel, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at Peaks with a mountain view, and après ski at Carabiners Bar. You'll also find a coffee cart and a few shops inside the Hotel.
