Angel Fire is a small mountain with mostly beginner and intermediate terrain and the best terrain parks in New Mexico, perfect for anyone looking for a quick ski fix. There's also extensive snowmaking and some of the most beautiful views in New Mexico. Just note, the limited facilities, dining, and nightlife options here mean there's little to do after the mountain closes.

I had an overall good time here. The locals were friendly and majority of employees were helpful. The layout of the mountain is fun and caters more towards the intermediate rider with some steeper stuff if you get into the trees. When there is enough snow look for the bike trails in the glades, that's the money and super FUN to ride. ... More

Was a decent mountain. Was super packed when I went lift lines were 20-30 minutes long. Snow wasn't that great as it is so far south. Worth a visit though... More

Never been skiing in New Mexico. Have always wanted to, would be great for a getaway weekend. Only being 8 hours away would love to see Angel Fire. Would definitely be great ski season. Looking like the snow fall will be great. ... More

Absolutely loved this resort. Went a couple years ago and already have a trip planned this up coming year. I usually go with some friends or family every year and it is by far one of the best package for resorts price and trails. It's closer to Texas where I'm from so for the years not able to make it to Colorado, wonderful substitute.... More

Very family friendly. Need to update their lodge to accommodate more crowds. Crowded on three day weekends. Great for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Snowboarders seem to love this resort. Not a lot of options for those preferring extreme skiing.... More
