The home resort. This is a good resort to hone your skills. It is overpriced for what you get. This is the best resort within local proximity to Pittsburgh, and hour away so the area tends to get crowded on weekends. The snow quality is pretty poor unless it’s no within 24 hours because their snow makers are more on the side of ice makers, they turn all the good snow into ice

We go every weekend. There’s a few hotels off site to save some money. Along with extra dining options. My favorite runs are on the North face side.
Buffet dinners Friday and Saturday.
Helen’s is a must do dinner option.

The staff is friendly and the trails are generally well groomed but their terrain parks are unlike anything on the east coast! The ally and the sheets are fantastic for progression!

It is close to home, but not as close as Snowshoe, however the drive is easier.

We have not been to Seven Springs but have friends that have. We will be going there I am sure next season because it is within a days travel.

The Home resort. This resort is extremely overpriced for what you get but it is the only resort really near Pittsburgh of moderate size. This is a great resort to go to if you’re only trapped within the local proximity. This does the trick for your fixing on a nice snow day. However if it did not snow in the last 24 hours be prepared to ride dangerous icy conditions that are facilitated by there ice water sprayers, which make all the good snow quickly turn to ice.

When Old Man Winter arrives, Seven Springs is the place to be! Nice facilities on the mountain when you are all skied out. Nice deck for apres ski activities a well.

Hidden Valley is where I learned to ski. Seven springs is the neighbor down the street where I spend most of my time now. From top to bottom and everything in between..... no complaints.
