**Location** Keystone, CO 22010 US Hwy 6 90 miles from Denver International Airport. The Lodge sits beside the Keystone Lake and ice rink. The Lodge is just 5 minutes from the ski lifts via private, direct shuttle. Guests of the Keystone Lodge and Spa enjoy complimentary ski check at the base of the gondola along with a "Fast Pass" that allows access to the significantly shorter ski school line prior to 10 a.m. **Directions** From Denver International Airport (DIA): Travel west on I-70. Exit 205 Dillon/ Silverthorne. At the end of the exit ramp turn left and you will be on Highway 6. Travel 6.5 miles to the West Keystone Rd. traffic light. Continue 200 meters past the traffic light. The Keystone Lodge will be on the right. Self parking is available just past The Lodge on the left hand side for a rate of $15 per night. From Eagle County Airport: Travel east on I-70. Sitting atop the summit of Dercum Mountain is one of Kidtopia’s most popular attractions: The Kidtopia Snowfort! This giant snow castle, complete with hidden tunnels, slides and even a snow maze delivers a one of a kind on snow experience for visitors of all ages! If you are looking for some fun off the snow, be sure to be in the River Run Village every Saturday at 4:00 pm for Ripperoo’s Village Parade. Join Ripperroo and his friends from the Keystone Ski and Ride School as they dance and parade their way through River Run Village. There’s a horse drawn wagon for kids to ride on, a giant Keystone float, and of course Ripperroo will be there! After the parade, be sure to hang around for the free fireworks display every Saturday at 7:00 pm! Ready, Paint, Fire: Choose from a wide selection of ceramic pieces such as mugs and platters or kid-tastic figurines and money banks. Paint away to your hearts content in our fun and colorful studio - then we will glaze and kiln fire your item overnight. Snow-CAT Tours: Grab a few friends and family members and take a snowcat ride through the back mountains of Keystone Resort. Breathtaking views of the Continental Divide, Ten Mile Range and the Gore Range are just a part of the fun. Adventure Point: Tubing: Just like when you were a kid, only on a much bigger hill with its own tubing lift - during the day or under the lights. With a unique state-of-the-art conveyor lift, the amount of rides is up to you. Get ready to laugh until it hurts in this must-do experience for all ages. Snow biking: Snow Biking. It isn’t exactly skiing, and it sure isn’t biking. But you are certainly straddling something similar to an old-school-style, squishy, banana bike seat and sliding downhill…fast! To clarify, you do not need to be a skier - snowboarders are accepted too. You’ll get mini ski blades that you strap to your boots, which you will use to turn and maneuver on the hill. The bike has two blades instead of wheels with a front handle bar that turns and responds to weight-shifts that allow you to carve down the hill. It is a sport unto itself, so as long as you are somewhat athletic, or up for an outdoor activity, no other skills are required. CAT Skiing Tours: Spend the day on the hill in the Indy, Ericson and Bergman Bowls, where you will have endless acres of powder and terrain all to yourself! This is a perfect activity for groups as well. Our experienced Keystone Adventure Tour guides will make this experience one to remember! You'll receive powder equipment and a delicious catered lunch in our cozy, heated Yurt. Each run down the mountain is followed by your very own, heated cat that picks you up and takes you back to the top of the 12,000 feet peaks. Keystone Nordic Center: The Keystone Nordic Center offers cross-country skiing, skate skiing, snowshoeing, lessons, rentals, and guided tours throughout the winter. Cross-Country Skiing: Keystone's Nordic Center offers more than 9 miles of groomed trails and provides access to more than 35 miles (of nearby packed trails through the White River National Forest (these trails require a 3-5 mile drive to reach the trail heads). Snowshoeing: Snowshoeing at Keystone Resort is a serene and rewarding activity that any guest can enjoy during their stay at the Rocky Mountain resort. Spread across the White River National Forest, snowshoers of any age can access more than 35 miles of packed trails in and around the Keystone Nordic Center as well as mountain-top snowshoe adventures atop Keystone’s famed Dercum Peak. Tubing Hill: Keystone's Nordic Center offers an “old fashion” tubing hill for kids and families! Family Tubing the old-fashioned way: walk up and slide down. Great fun for families, especially those with young children & grandparents. Fly Fishing: Enjoy a guided full or half-day fishing tour to nearby waters with Summit County’s premiere fishing guide service, Cutthroat Anglers, to catch-and-release brown, brook, cut-throat, and rainbow trout. All excursions include transportation, equipment and coaching and can be customized to fit your group’s needs and interests. The outfitter leads guided float trips on McKenzie-style drift boats and rafts, still-water float trips, and walk-and-wade trips on some of the most productive streams and lakes in Colorado, including on private lands inaccessible to the public. Scenic Gondola Rides: Keystone is the only Colorado ski resort with two high-speed gondolas. The first takes you to the top of Dercum Mountain and the second to North Peak and the Outpost- home to the Alpenglow Stube and Der Fondue Chessel. Ski with a Ranger: Volunteer Rangers guide a one hour ski or snowboard tour down an intermediate trail on Dercum Mountain at Keystone Ski Resort. Participants meet at the top of Dercum at the lookout deck at 11:00 am on Fridays from Friday, December 19, 2014 through March 27, 2015. The Ski With a Ranger tour is free to participants, but a lift ticket or season pass and at least intermediate skiing ability are required. Each tour follows the naturalist guide through several planned stops on the mountain to learn about topics of interest. SUMMER Whitewater Rafting: Enjoy an exciting full or half-day white water rafting trip with one of Colorado’s top guide services. All excursions include a photo CD of all the photos taken of your raft from the day, “Ultimate Fajita Buffet Lunch,” and a full wetsuit package. We offer a wide selection of trips on rapids that range anywhere from Class II (small waves, very kid-friendly) up to Class V (exciting whitewater, for the adult adventurer). Our intermediate and advanced trips (Class III-IV rapids) also offer transportation from Dercum Square in the River Run Village. The outfitter leads family friendly float trips on the Arkansas and Colorado Rivers, while all whitewater trips take place on the Arkansas River. All trips are operated by The Adventure Company who only staff the most experienced whitewater rafting guides in all of Colorado. Adventure Point: Tubing: Summer Snow Tubing.
