Sundance is one of the best resorts I've ever rode. The effort the staff puts into making sure you feel like a local is extraordinary. It honestly feel like an 80s ski movie where every one knows your name. The food is fantastic for when its time for a break. The snow is incredible and the value is crazy. One of the best priced resorts I've been to
Fun resort but but powder gets tracked down way to fast. Getting more and more crowded every year. Sundance sets up a good environment. Check it out If you haven’t had a chance.
Sundance is an extremely beatiful resort. It is tucked away yet still close to the city. It is definitely my go to place for skiing with my friends and famil!
Love this place. Small, rustic resort with a great mountain, and uncrowded slopes. There’s always a chance to meet the owner, Robert Redford. Why would you go anyplace else? Have to finish the day at the Owl bar for drinks and dessert.
Such an awesome place, quiet, never busy, awesome people. Yes it's not the biggest, most known, but on a good powder day you can't beat it. Lots of steep uncrowded runs. Not a lot of tourists usually mostly locals and for the area if they are riding Sundance it's for a reason
Sundance is a great resort because they take good care of the runs and pay good attention to the grooming and treat their guests like they're family. I love the small, homie feeling of the resort in general and the fact that it sticks to its roots and isn't commercialized. The only flaws are the low altitude, so conditions can be sloppy some days, and the lifts are quite slow compared to the other resorts I rode at, and jumps at the terrain park are not well taken care of. Other than that, it's a pretty solid resort, and I love the fact that it's only 15 minutes from my apartment, which is in the Provo/Orem metropolitan area. With more mountain time and less time driving, I was able to ride on the weekdays. Sure, they might open later than most resorts here, but it's because they want to provide guests with the best conditions possible. Props to them for that!
