Great mountain for the entire family. We have season passes and close enough to CT to make it a good regular there and back is completely do able. Also plenty of inns and hotels at a reasonable price during winter months.

Mount Snow has great terrain for all ability levels. There are awesome learning areas at the Discovery Center, Sundance and Carinthia. Blue trails like Exhibition or Ego Alley down the front,

Southern Vermont is the closest area with good vertical and decent slopes. Mt. Snow has become a bit too crowded for me at times.

Mt. Snow does an outstanding job of grooming its slopes, and for the intermediate skiiers in our family, it's a favorite destination.
