Overall
Crystal Mountain has the most lift accessed vertical in Washington and offers up a variety of terrain as well as breathtaking views of Mount Rainer volcano. Lodging-wise, there are a few hotel options at the base and nearby Greenwater is a cute little town. For après ski, don't look past Snorting Elk. It's a super authentic ski bar and pretty much the only nightlife on the mountain.

Its a good local day mountain. It's 2hrs from Seattle where I live so it's a long day but worth the effort if there is good snow. There are very few overnight facilities.... Moreadvanced skier

This resort is absolutely beautiful. She has views of Mt Rainier on a beautiful day. She's accessible through Seattle and worth the drive. The Gondola to the top is a great ride even for the views and there is a great restaurant at the top. There's a bunch of great terrain off the groomers and the snow is always deep. I love making the trek to... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Crystal Mt in Washington is one of the best areas to ride has steeps and great access to back country it doesn't get to crowded and all the lifts are fast and pretty new great lodging and bars not to far of a drive but it's kinda slow going only two lanes so you get stuck behind some tourist it kinda sucks but just head up early... The best location for a day trip from Seattle. High speed lifts, on mountain lodges, and continual investment in the property. Beginner to scary advanced. Hidden gems of snow and places to hang out.... Moreadvanced snowboarder

This is the biggest resort in Washington State at 2600 acres and is directly East of Mt. Rainier. At the top of the mountain you can get great views of Rainier literally IN YOUR FACE on days that it is not cloudy. 468" of snow per year so there are plenty of deep days. Hit Northway Chair for a backcountry-ish experience!Superb!5 / 5Oct 16, 2017

Crystal Mountain is everything a ski area should be. The location is beautiful, The terrain is beautiful and the people are friendly.. really good vibe and views. The lift system is basic and the mt has a good flow.. The main attraction and only attraction here is the skiing. Its not a bottom line for profit only operation and you can tell that the... More
