Fun times were had, on and off the snow. Staff were pleasant, weather was indifferent but that's just how it goes! Wish we could have stayed longer, the mountain has plenty to offer everyone. ... More

Perisher is a great resort if you are based in Australia and don’t have the time to fly overseas. When the snow is coming, you can make a quick getaway after work on Friday and be there for first tracks on Saturday morning. The season pass is great value for money, especially if you buy it preseason in the early bird sale... More

Perisher, NSW, Australia. The snow can be great, epic at times, mother nature plays plenty of games, you'll get plenty of time on the snow, be flexible and you'll score, no doubt!! Perisher has the potential to serve up blubird powder days with no one in sight! Be smart and you'll have the time of your life!... More

Perisher is easily accessible from Jindabyne which offers hostels accommodation for great value for money. The Ski Tube is a short drive and takes you up to the top of the hill. Snow was epic and the size of resort is fantastic for those worrying about how it would compare with European resorts. ... More

I'm from Australia and this is where I ride. In my opinion Perisher has the other Australian resorts beat for one simple reason, it has so much more terrain! While Thredbo has a nicer village and slightly better food, Perisher has by far the best riding. From fun tree riding (gum trees which is a fun novelty), to some fun off piste, to groomers and... With numerous lifts and T bars to take you across the wide mountain, Perisher has some of the best hidden runs in the Southern Hemisphere. A great mountain for those willing to adventure out and earn their turns, you can easily escape lift lines if you're willing to search for those un-tracked trails. Unfortunately there are limited spots on snow,... More
