Close to Traverse City, Crystal is one of the best mountains in all of Michigan with consistent snowfall from Lake Effect and a great mix of terrain – with a couple of bowl-esque trails. The DJ and live music at the Vista Bar make it a fun spot for après on weekends. There's plenty of non-skiing activities at the base and is overall a very family friendly mountain.

Great family area, but lift ticket prices have sky rocketed lately and grooming/snow making has gone downhill. It’s become all about the real estate and “resort experience” and less and less about the quality and affordability of the skiing. As a 19 year season pass holder, this trend has been so disappointing.... More

Best mountain in Washington. Nice gondola, some new upgraded lifts. Great spread out tree lines, some of my favorite runs in Washington. Elks Lodge near the parking lot is a great break spot for a beer! ... More

This was my home resort when I was growing up and I loved it! It is the place that helped build my passion for skiing. Lots of terrian. Decent park. Solid hot tub to hit up. Pizza place about a mile down the road that was always a must stop. Some of my favorite ski memories happened at this resort.... More

Crystal mountain is an amazing mountain with knarly terrain. Still holding on to it's small mountain feel. But will be getting busier with time. The snow is amazing. Side country and back country options available. Terrain is veried but is an experts paradise. Hiking out to the king is always worth it. The season is starting and it's looking like... More

What a gem! Great runs. 2 hours from Seattle. Sick blue runs and some nice black ones too. A couple of greens for the new ones also. Lots of space, literally never crowded. ... More

Living in the Seattle area, the three closest ski resorts are Crystal, Stevens Pass, and Summit at Snowqualamie. If I had to choose one to make as my go to mountain, it would deffinetly be Crystal. Crystal has the longest and most runs of any of the three resorts. The only issue with it is it does have a long line problem on the weekend, which is... More
