Sugar Mountain Resort is a nice resort to learn to ski at. Although it is not the best for more advanced skiers. Also the snow isn’t good at all unless you come while it’s snowing. Can also be very icy at times. ... More

One of the better resorts in NC. My top choice in the state. Speed lift now makes it a lot better than before. Terrain park is rarely open though. Like the option of 2 blacks and an easy blue at the top of the mountain.

The only resort that I have been to here on the east coast. Lots of fun to ride. I really enjoy the terrain here. I hope this next season is epic. I have been to west coast ski resorts and moved to the east. Still exploring resorts here.
